Cristian is a biologist in the coffee zone of Colombia (Universidad del Quindío). He has been involved in the creation of taxonomic files for the catalog of amphibians and reptiles of Colombia and has published scientific articles on the ecology of Herpetofauna. Cristian is passionate about nature photography, especially macro photography.
He enjoys using his photographs to portray the diversity of these animals to the community in general in order to generate awareness and strengthen the conservation of these beings. His research work focuses on geographic, ecological and communication variation in poisonous frogs of the genera Andinobates and Oophaga.
